Air Pegasus was founded in 2014 and it commenced operations on 12th of April,2015 with its inaugural flight between Bangalore and Hubli. The parent company of Air Pegasus is Decor Aviation. Air Pegasus flies to a total of 7 destinations, all in South India. These include Hubli, Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Madurai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kadapa. Air Pegasus flies a total of 25 sectors a day between these seven destinations. Air Pegasus aims at focusing on routes in South India from its hub in Bengaluru in the first year of operations and further down the road aims at creating such hubs in Eat and West India.
Air Pegasus inspite of being a semi low cost carrier allows free checked in baggage up to 15 kgs per adult. In order to check in more baggage passengers will have to pay Rs 250/- per kg and for passengers travelling on a connecting international flight within 24 hours of the Air Pegasus will be charged Rs 150/- per kg. Passengers can carry a maximum of one hand bag weighing not more than 7 kgs.
