#4 US Airport Security

All Americans travelling by air in the US will require a Real ID-compliant license from January 22. Warnings are already out to get to airports earlier in implementation phase as it could cause check-in delays and confusion.

#5 Barrier Reef Safety Measures

Before tourists enter the water on the Great Barrier Reef, tourism operators will have to request declarations from people at-risk. This step is taken as a result of a spate of deaths in 2016. If the tourist is considered at risk, they will be required to wear floatation devices and coloured vest and snorkel so they can be easily spotted.

#6 Overtourism

Some European destinations have had enough of tourists and as a result, there have been anti-tourism marches in Barcelona and Venice, selfie sticks have been banned in Milan, in Iceland and some other places tourism taxes on a rise.
