Bow down your head at the most famous Gurudwara of Delhi which Bangla Saheb Gurudwara. A beautiful Gurudwara painted with white has a different feel to it in comparison to other places touristic spots in Delhi. Not famous among tourists this place will take you away from all the noise of Delhi and put you in completely different mood inside its boundaries.

Perfectly used white color combined with the work in Golden showcase the resemblance to Sikh architecture. Although not as big as Golden Temple of Amritsar it is still quite sizeable and it will take you at least 1 hour to freely roam around here and click great picture of yours besides the white canvas which are its walls.

Sitting at its center is the big pond which is considered as holy water so don’t make a mistake to get inside this pond. Inside the pond there are several fishes which are fed daily by the Gurudwara community. This pond is really beautiful and it is quite remarkable that at the center of Delhi you have such a big pond inside the boundaries of a Gurudwara.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is located in the center of Delhi near Connaught Place and has the facility for parking.

There is no entry fee and if you reach during after noon before 2 you can eat delicious free lunch meal which they serve in langar.

How to reach:

The best way to reach here is by taking a metro to Rajiv Chowk and then take an auto for remaining 2 km journey.

If you are coming by Flight then take a metro From Aerocity or IGI metro station and drop at Shivaji metro station, from here it is only 300 m away.
