PUSHKAR CAMEL FAIR

 RAJASTHAN, INDIA

October 23 – November 4

Come to absolve your sins in the holy Pushkar Lake or to see the country fair atmosphere, come for the camel race or the camel beauty contest or camel trading, whatever it is be prepared for some India-style-fun with dancers, musicians, fortune tellers, magicians, snake charmers, market stalls and more all under the auspicious autumn full moon.

ICELAND AIRWAVES

REYKJAVIK, ICELAND

Looking for an intimate and authentic experience where you get to explore and experience your favourite band and discover new ones all partying together in an aeroplane hangar, hit the Iceland Airwaves. BON OM TOUK

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA

A 3-day festival celebrated on the full moon of the Buddhist month of Kadeuk, the Bon Om Touk or the Water Festival is focused on boat races and concerts. The river is illuminated by fireworks and brightly-lit boats under the full moon. It is the celebration of a natural phenomenon-the reversing of the current of Tonle Sap River.

LOY KRATHONG FESTIVAL

THAILAND

November 3

Loy means to float and Krathong means a circular floating item embellished with banana leaves, flowers, candles and incense stick. The festival of lights occurs on the full moon night of the twelfth lunar month. The festival is celebrated by lighting the candles and sent off to float down rivers and streams. People set eels and turtles free in river or pond and the holiday is also celebrated with beauty pageants.

PIRATES WEEK FESTIVAL

CAYMAN ISLANDS

The festivities on the Cayman Islands will begin with heritage displays, parades, fireworks, music, street dances, competition, games, traditional dishes and drinks all in all full of culture, fantasy and fun. Look out for the pirates attacking the island featuring 3 full-scale pirate sailing ships. KENU & KUNDU FESTIVAL

 ALOTAU, PAPUA NEW GUINEA

Celebrate the customary Papuan way of life with live music, traditional dancing, drama performances, craft displays but what steals the show are the impeccably crafted Kundu drums and canoes. Colourful and traditional, this festival is a great way to experience the vibrant culture and the warm people.

Love bacon, here at PA Bacon Fest you will find novel and unusual ways to eat it.
