“My Abu Dhabi stop-over” flying is passion, visiting new places, curiosity of knowing culture, tradition and penchant to travelling has taken me far & wide. Never miss a chance to explore a new destination; this is why stop-over can be really fun way to see the place in a matter of day.

On my way back home, taken a stop-over flight via Abu Dhabi my mind was enthralled to know the beauty of this Emirates Island called “Abu Dhabi” Much like its neighbour, Dubai, the city is filled with attractions and impressive things to see and do during a visitor’s stay. Although day-trip seems too little, but you must make the most of time! There is no shortage of reasons as to why more and more people are starting to head to Abu Dhabi when visiting the UAE.

• Start your day with the most beautiful mosque in the whole of UAE “Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque” true feast for the eyes, with walls built from pure white marble and decorated with colourful stone brought from all over the world to form floral shapes.This is the perfect place to spend the morning, grasping a greater understanding of Islam and the capital of the country.

• Then head for some thrilling afternoon, the best place “Ferrari World” guarantee fun for the whole family, the Ferrari theme park has amazing rides & activities for everyone. The adrenaline rush at the fastest rollercoaster is unforgettable day.

• There is no better way to end the day like the locals do at Corniche Beach watching the Abu Dhabi view come alive it’s filled with restaurants and cafes, as well as a unique view of the Abu Dhabi skyline against the blue and clean waters.

• No visit to Abu Dhabi is complete without a little souvenir shopping. Souk Central Market is the perfect place to end the trip, purchasing traditional items to keep as reminders of an amazing time in Abu Dhabi. The Arabian-style market is populated by traditional stores selling everything from traditional dresses to Abu Dhabi-themed mugs and magnets. This is a way to take a little piece of the capital of the UAE for all those back home.

So next time you have a stop-over, think twice how much fun it is to enjoy a day at a new place. Stop-over or lay-over flights can truly be fun-filled with enchanting memories as I head back home, ticking one destination off the places to visit.
