Chandigarh, the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, was designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. Located on the foothills of Shivalik range of Himalayas Being a union territory, Chandigarh is administered directly by Central Government. This city is known all over the world because of its superb urban planning and architectural splendor. The town is a beautiful blend of architecture, design, natural beauty, gardens, heritage and urbanization.
