If you are travelling with an infant, across cabin class, you are allowed an additional 10 kg of check-in baggage. The maximum permissible weight for a single piece of baggage is 32 kg. On all of Air India’s domestic flights the excess baggage charge is INR 600 plus GST per extra kg.
