You’ll need to check-in at the airport when you’re travelling to or from this destination and your booking was paid for online by debit/credit card, you will not be able to check-in online. 

Also make a note that online check-in restrictions apply to certain bookings only  and till now these bookings you will need to check in at the airport.

You must check in online between 24 hours and 90 minutes before the departure. You can simply choose your seat and print your boarding pass.

Make a note, once you've checked in online, you won't be able to change your booking or add/ modify the optional extras on your booking.

And If you have bags to check in, you can go to the bag drop desks 1, 2 or 3 so that they can be tagged and accepted for the flight. After that you can go straight to security and through to departures.

If you are travelling in business class, you can check in at the flydubai business class check-in counters 4 and 5 and, at selected airports, our priority services also provide a speedy path through security.

Always remember, you will still have a requirement to pass through security at least 60 minutes before the departure and be at the boarding gate not more than 30 minutes before departure. If you're late, you may miss your flight.

Baggage Drop-Off :

If your flight is from Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminal 2, and you have bags to check in, you have to go to the bag drop desks 19 to 22 for Economy Class or desks 23 and 24. And if you are flying in business or you are an Emirates Skywards member (Platinum, Gold or Silver). Then there they will be tagged and accepted for the flight.

Board the flight process :

You have to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the departure time of your flight. After arriving at the airport you can go directly to one of the check-in desks where they'll check your documents and print your boarding pass and then your good to go!

• Check-in closes 60 minutes before departure.

• Boarding starts 45 minutes before your flight.

• Boarding gates close 20 minutes before flight departure.

• If you arrive late, you will not be accepted onto the flight and your baggage will be offloaded.

Yes. Online check-in is available for up to nine passengers in a booking. Passengers in the same booking can check in online separately, and at different times, from 48 hours to 90 minutes before departure.

5. Can unaccompanied children check in online?

No. Children under 12 years old should be accompanied by a passenger (parent or guardian) travelling on the same booking, who is at least 16 years of age. Children aged 12 and over who are travelling without an adult must proceed to the airport check in desk.

The price you pay for your cheap flights online may vary depending on when you book. Cheap flight tickets are likely to increase a fortnight or so before your departure date.
